Meet the Inkeepers: Matt and Mary Comerford
After 25 years in Real estate, Matt and Mary Comerford made the decision to retire. The Comerford's decided at that time that the hectic pace of Massachusetts was more than they wanted to subject themselves to, and started looking for some quiet and secluded property in the Central Green Mountains. It was there, in Brookfield, VT that they heard the mountains calling their names. They purchased 232 acres, and began building their log cabins and house with a B&B, thus Birch Meadow Log Cabins and B&B was born. They moved into the house, enabling them to manage their cabin rentals with a hands-on approach.
The Comerford's take great pride in their cabins. They are always striving to provide their guests with a most unique mountain experience.
